A Broadcast Television Journalists Association divulgou a lista dos indicados aos melhores da TV americana. Esta associação faz parte da Broadcast Film Critics Association e não deve ser confundida com a Television Critics Association, que anunciou ontem, dia 27 de maio, sua lista de indicados ao TCA Awards.

Criado em 2011, o prêmio oferecido pela Broadcast Television Journalists Association é conhecido como Critics’ Choice Television Awards. Representando profissionais que escrevem sobre televisão (jornalistas e críticos), a Associação estabeleceu 20 categorias entre séries, minisséries, telefilmes, reality shows e talk shows. Concorrem ao prêmio programas exibidos em território americano entre os dias 1º de junho de 2013 e 31 de maio de 2014.

A cerimônia de entrega dos prêmios será realizada no dia 19 de junho, com transmissão pelo canal CW. Esta é a primeira vez que o evento será exibido na TV. Cedric the Entertainer (The Soul Man) será o mestre de cerimônias.
