Beatriz Pacheco Pereira
Portuense, escritora, é uma das fundadoras do Festival Internacional de Cinema do Porto. Além de cinema, literatura, artes plásticas, música clássica e jardins, gosta de comer bem. Frequenta restaurantes da alta cozinha, os típicos e clássicos espaços da Invicta.
• A writer, born in Porto, she is one of the founders of the Porto International Film Festival. Besides appreciating movies, literature, plastic arts, classical music and gardens, she appreciates good food. She frequents not only haut cuisine restaurants, but the typical and classical spaces of the Invicta as well.

Carlos Nunes Pinto
Economista, dedica-se nas horas livres ao Fooding Club, que organiza jantares mensais, viagens gourmet e provas de iguarias variadas.
• Economist, appreciator of good cuisine, dedicates himself in his free time to the Fooding Club, which organises monthly dinners, gourmet trips and varied delicacy tasting, among other events.

Francisco Guedes
Responsável pela organização de eventos literários, como o Correntes d'Escritas e o Literatura em Viagem, é um expert da cozinha e já publicou livros de receitas e um guia de restaurantes portugueses.

José Cordeiro
Chef de cozinha há 25 anos, durante três anos liderou o restaurante da Casa da Calçada Relais & Châteaux, em Amarante, onde foi reconhecido com uma estrela Michelin. Antes, esteve no Pestana Porto Carlton Hotel e no Restaurante Davidoff, entre outros.

Helena Duarte
Depois de trabalhar alguns anos no Diário de Notícias, onde era responsável pelo suplemento "Beberes", lançou a revista Wine Passion, dedicada aos vinhos e à gastronomia. Sua família é do Douro e as delícias do universo das comidinhas sempre estiveram muito presentes em sua vida.
• After working for some years at the Diário de Notícias, where she was responsible for the supplement "Beberes", she launched the Wine Passion magazine, dedicated to wine and gastronomy. Her family is from the Douro and the delicacies of food universe were always present in her life.

Isabel Sottomayor
É proprietária da Loja Gourmet, uma empresa especializada na distribuição de iguarias de qualidade. Costuma escrever sobre o assunto em publicações da área.

Joana Lencastre
Comanda a 1000 Paladares, uma empresa de distribuição de produtos gourmet que abastece lojas e restaurantes. Também é responsável pela Casa dos Lagares, uma unidade de enoturismo no Douro. Criou este ano o Estúdio Gourmet, um espaço de formação na área de turismo e hotelaria.
• She runs the 1000 Paladares, a distribution company of gourmet products, which supplies stores and restaurants. She is also responsible for the Casa dos Lagares, an eno-tourism unit in the Douro. This year, she created Estúdio Gourmet, an education space in the area of tourism and hotelary.

Mário Rodrigues
Nasceu em Lisboa e especializou-se na área das novas tecnologias. Lançou o Serviço Português de Gastronomia e Hotelaria, antigo canal de gastronomia do portal SAPO. Também é o fundador e gestor da Garfos e Letras, no Porto, um espaço cultural e gourmet, onde dá cursos de cozinha.
• Born in Lisbon he specialised in the area of new technologies. He launched the Portuguese Service of Gastronomy and Hotelary, the old gastronomy channel of the SAPO portal. He is also the founder and manager of Garfos e Letras, in Porto, a cultural and gourmet space, where he gives culinary courses.

Paulo Morais Vaz
Está à frente da Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto e dos núcleos de Santa Maria da Feira, Lamego e Mirandela. Colabora como consultor técnico na edição de livros sobre cozinha e gastronomia. É membro do júri de vários concursos nacionais e regionais.
• He heads the Porto School of Hotels and Tourism as well as the unit of Santa Maria da Feira, Lamego and Mirandela. He collaborates as technical consultant in book editing about cooking and gastronomy. He is a member of the jury in several national and regional contests.

Pedro Garcias
É editor desde 2003 do caderno "Fugas" do jornal Público. Vive em Vila Real e trabalha no Porto. Define-se como um "homem da terra", ecologista e apaixonado por vinhos. Possui uma quinta no Douro e prepara-se para lançar um marca própria de vinhos.
• He has been the editor of the supplement "Fugas" since 2003 within the Público newspaper. He defines himself as "a man of the land" and a wine enthusiast. He owns a farm in Douro and is preparing to launch his own brand of wine.
